As part of a small, external team contracted to work on UX copy for the new app, we focused on:
Defining the brand voice
Supporting efforts to develop a UX writing style guide
Ensuring consistency and clarity
Making the UI copy more conversational and familiar
Note: The app has been continually updated since we wrapped up our contract and not all copy is still live on the product.

Personalize the user experience
Make fans feel welcome.
Help them feel like they’re a part of the league.
Earn and keep users’ trust by being transparent
Inform users about use of data.
Let them know why they are being asked for certain information.
Tell them what they will/won’t be able to access.
Favor simple, straightforward copy
Avoid copy that ‘tries too hard’.
Using uncomplicated, clear language shows respect for users’ time.
